OBJECTIVE
Make the workforce more aware of the ESIC scheme and entitlements, and enable them to access it easily.
CHALLENGE
Less or no awareness about the ESI entitlements of the workforce, the user journey, and what steps to take in case the workforce is not easily able to access the scheme.
SOLUTION
Address the gaps that were identified, create a guidebook, and disseminate information in factories and other workplaces for improvement in health services provided by ESI with ESIC and other stakeholders in the fold.
IMPACT

Awareness gaps were addressed at the organisation level and at the individual level.

The workforce benefited from the schemes because the organisations were more supportive and provided the necessary information.

Policy recommendations were made to ESIC based on the gaps and challenges identified.
